To put is simply, Colfer has a gift for taking excellent research of Irish mythology and giving it a modern and technical twist. That makes for plenty of wry, clever humor for this smartly paced book.
It’s a great concept: child criminal mastermind, big tough bodyguard. The little people with their gold.
It pokes fun of itself and all of its crazy characters as well as the entirity of Irish mythology. I appreciate the lengths Colfer has gone to, and the action is hilarious and well-done.
It’s not what I could call timeless fantasy, but it certainly is worth the popularity it holds.

Often, the original mount would fall off the windshield. The Garmin Portable Friction Mount provides a secure, stable way to hold the GPS. It never falls off the dashboard. I now travel with it so that I can use my GPS in rental cars. This is a great product. I would highly recommend it.

I love my kindle!! It’s light weight and fits in my purse so I carry it everywhere!! I am more motivated to read! I finish a book and I just buy another one right on my kindle! No stopping at the bookstore or waiting for the books to come in the mail. The kindle is super easy to use and i don’t miss the bulky books at all. Another plus is no more trees are being killed because of my reading so much! I felt really bad reading so many books once and then throwing them in the spare bedroom to be forgotten. You can read it anywhere (pool, beach, office, etc..) there is no glare at all but you can’t read with the light off. My only problem with the Kindle so far is that I have been unable to buy a cover for it because Amazon still refuses to ship to Puerto Rico!! They shipped the kindle and they can ship books but no cover. You won’t regret buying it!!

We did a lot of research before deciding on this vacuum. My main concern was pet hair. The Hoover Tempo Widepath did not disappoint! I love it because I can actually see the cleaner carpet when I’ve finished. Not so much with my old vacuum. I used it on Berber carpet as well as the linoleum floors. It really gets the job done! The only thing it needs is a longer cord. And again, Amazon proved to have the best price and even with FREE shipping, we received the vacuum very quickly.

I bought the Kindle 2 back in 2009 for $400. At the time I justified the purchase with the idea that books would be cheaper on the Kindle 2 and I would not have to pay for shipping and handling. However, kindle books are not significantly cheaper on amazon. The kindle equivalent of a hard cover is usually significantly discounted, yet the kindle equivalent of a paperback is barely discounted. Therefore I would not suggest getting a kindle if you intend to read paperbacks.
In addition the kindle interface is clunky. The screen loads slowly and if you have a lot of books it is very annoying to navigate through your library. Another huge problem is that if you lose your kindle you lose all your books. Kindle books are not in a standard ebook reader format, this forces you to get another kindle when something happens to your kindle.
Most importantly the kindle’s battery has a tendency to break. It seems that this is a fairly common problem. When I contacted kindle support they tried two ways to reset the kindle and then informed me that I would have to get a new kindle. It seems ridiculous to me that they do not offer to repair your kindle. If the battery in your laptop breaks you can send it back to the manufacturer to get a new battery. Even if your laptop is out of warranty you pay a small fee to get it serviced. It is illogical to me that I can’t pay for a new battery instead of having to buy a new kindle.
There are many ebook readers available and the Kindle is one of the most expensive of all the ebook readers(some are as low $90).I strongly suggest that you shop around before purchasing a kindle.

I’m a senior. I’m very used to a standard keyboard, but find it very difficult to use this device as I’m always hitting the wrong keys. I wanted a device to be able to get my e-mail and hold all my contacts. It is a royal pain to sync my e-mail to more than one Goggle e-mail account. Oh yes, the manual is the pits too!
Overall, I am disappointed in the I-touch.

I’ve had my 305 for almost exactly a year and recently it started behaving badly – intermittently taking as much as 1/2 hour to find satellites (under a total open, tree-free, sunny sky), even where I normally run. Then, it seemed one morning as though it was no longer holding a battery charge. I expected to have to replace it but figured I’d call Garmin tech support first just in case I could avoid the cost. The support specialist said that I could send it in for free repair (warranty is 1 year) but he thought resetting the device (essentially rebooting it and wiping out data history) might be all I need to do, so I should try that first. While on the phone, he also told me about features of the device I never knew existed (such as customizing the display, etc … I really only use it for pace and distance) and showed me a lot that I would have known a year ago if I ever bothered to read the manual. He also said that it should work well for years – so I shouldn’t have to be thinking about replacing it after just one year… that’s a nice thing to hear from a company.
Device charged fine after the reboot and this morning, when I went to run – I expected to have to wait ages for satellite lock (tech said it could take a while to get satellites after reboot becuase that resets it to factory defaults, as if it just came out of the box). It took literally less than a minute to lock satellites and worked perfectly … really like it was brand new, and with more features on my screen now than I previously knew existed. I had thought about upgrading to the 405 but don’t have to now because the tech showed me that (unless you want wireless upload of your data to your computer) you’ve pretty much got most of the same features, just a different design.
I’m a fairly small woman with a tiny wrist and it is kind of bulky but fits fine and doesn’t bother me to run with it. The form factor is the only reason this watch doesn’t get 5 stars from me (but far from a reason not to u
