i’m not sure why, but the sidewalls seem to seat in the rim unevenly. the first time i inflated the inner tube, it blew out, and i realized later it was because the tire itself wasn’t seated on the rim properly. as i inflated the inner tube, part of the tire became unseated from the rim, causing the inner tube to get pinched and blow out. at first i thought this was just due to my carelessness. after getting a replacement inner tube i was more careful. i inflated it to a minimal pressure, then noted the unevenness of the sidewalls seating around the rim which i think caused the first blowout. i manually reseated the tire in a more even fashion around the rim, then continued to inflate without a problem. the tire seems fine now.
the weird thing is, i bought two of these tires and did not note any problems inflating the first tire.
Kenda Rain V Cut
The first time I heard about this book was about two or three years ago when my cousin told me this was “soooo gooood!” and I had to read it. I didn’t at first because I knew it was in the Young Adult section of the bookstore and I am always a bit iffy about that section.
Then, once the movie came out and there was this huge craze that followed, I definitely didn’t want to read the books because I try to not get sucked into all the hype.
This past Thanksgiving, I saw that another one of my cousins had the books and I asked her if I could borrow the first book so I could find out what all this mess was about. I definitely didn’t want to waste my money if the books turned out to be as dumb as I thought they would be.
So, on the car ride home I started reading … and reading… and reading … I found that I couldn’t put the book down! When I wasn’t reading, I was thinking about the book and how I wished I could be reading. True this is no mind bending, life changing work of literature, but I found it to be quite addictive and I don’t know why!
As soon as I finished the first book, I ran out to Wal-mart and bought the other three books because I couldn’t wait to have them shipped to me from Amazon.
By the end of the next week, I had finished all the books!
I hate my self a little for getting sucked into these books, but I just found them so entertaining and addictive.
