The police officer that ran our infant safety course drilled into us not to have such items in our cars. We were told in the event of an accident. such items could mame or kill our child. After a few weeks of repeated heart attaks wondering if my child was awake, asleep, okay, what, I broke down and got this. For my VW Bug I was able to attache it to the headrest so I don’t see how it could come off and hurt Sean in the event of an accident. If that headrest is coming off in an accident, we’ve got worse problems.

In the beginning the lights / music would start to put him to sleep. But then it keeps going for 10/20/30 minutes (whatever you set it for), and would keep him from falling entirely asleep. I’d have to reach back from the front seat to hit the off button, which would set off an extremely annoying and waking noise. Wish that wasn’t there and that there was a remote to shut it off (I’ve seen a similar toy with this).

Now that Sean is older, that noise doesn’t bother him. He will cry looking at the toy because he wants to press that on/off button SO BADLY. Whenever I take him out of the car seat, he’s reaching to press it or grab the red cardinal.

At night I feel the lights are too bright, and in the day too dull. Wish there was a day/night setting for this issue. Also wish when he kicks at the colored catapiller, the lights/music would go off or tell him the colors.
Baby Einstein Lights Melodies

The SteamVac cleaned the carpet very nicely and was pleased with the results upon first use. I attempted to use the it a second time a week later, and discovered the brushes would not spin. I followed the manual and cleaned the filter, and checked to make sure the brushes were properly inserted, but they still would not spin. I took it up to our local Hoover authorized repair shop and was told that the turbine that spins the brushes was broke and needed to be repaired. I now have to wait 2-3 weeks for warranty verification, parts, and install time.

Great toy. This ball is so light and easy for babies to pick up. My granddaughter of 6 months old loved Baby Einstein Bendy Ball immediately. It’s bright and rattles – excellent choice!

a little heavy. Nice bring-along-toy for baby. But is a little on the heavy side for a very young baby. Based on my experience with my own son, I would think most babies 4 months or younger would have difficulty holding / lifting Baby Einstein Takealong Tunes
