I received my Hoover 5914-900 steamvac one week ago, and just tried it out today. I had really bad grease stains by the front door from shoes that had been in the car garage. Used hot water only at first. Gone! Had dog accident (urine)spots in the formal dining room. Hot water only. Gone! The thing just works GREAT!!! Definitely pick one of these up if you are in need of a steamvac.

I admit it, I liked this book. It revolves around themes of “who is my family” when one is adrift at sea, biologically speaking. I know there are criticisms of the cruelty to animals issues and I was uncomfortable with them also. However, the story is set in the 1920-30’s and it is about the circus and I believe Ms. Gruen wrote accurately about how animals fared in that time and place.

This device helps me read at the pace I enjoy…fast. I don’t have to make trips to the store or wait for books to be delivered to the house…I see a book; I purchase it; I am able to read within 60 seconds…all on the device. I have 3 small children and don’t have time to “run to the store” for a book or make a trip to the library. The device goes with me. There is no glare when I use a book light at night. And I don’t have to worry about “losing” my page either. I enjoy reading again. Spend the money…but the device…it’s worth it.

We added this to our son’s Blues Clues Collection. He watched it so much that he wore it out. We had to replace it after about 6 weeks. This is great for a Blue Fan.

This scale is unusual in several respects:
1. Very bright, well lit number pad. Very easy to read under any lighting conditions, but does require four AAA batteries.
2. Slow to self-calibrate after you place it on the floor or move it. You literally need to give it a minute to settle down.
3. Slower to decide on your weight than other scales.
I called their customer service and they called back within minutes. They said that they WANT users to realize that the scale is calibrating and so they intenionally don’t make it appear like it is ready to use when it really is not.
Seems like they value accuracy over speed. That is a fair trade-off, just be sure it is the tradeoff that you choose when you purchase the scale.
It does have a beautiful look. I put it on my wood floor and you can see the walnut grain of the floor through the glass. Nice.

This is a good read. My daughter(23) recommended it to me and I bought a copy for my Mother-in-law. We all enjoyed it.

Artemis Fowl is a great book for kids.
This book is about a 12 year old boy named Artemis who is a genius and has a head for schemes. Artemis along with his body guard Butler go on adventures in an attempt to get his families fortune back. In order to accomplish this task his current scheme is to see if he can steal fairy gold without dying.
The Fairy world is made up of a lot of different creatures who are policed by a group called the LEPrecons. Holly Short a member of the fairy LEPrecon Unit gets herself kidnapped by Artemis. The LEPrecon force works to save Holly, stop Artemis, and protect there most favorite thing…Gold.
This the first of many adventures that Artemis, Butler, and Holly have together. I would recommend this book to anyone who would be willing to go on an adventuress adventure.

Well, one of my friends gave me this book and told me that it was the best book she had read. So I decided to give it a try too. Actually, this book like everything else has pros and cons. The idea about a vampire romance was truly genius and very unique. But I feel that the story wasnt written to its full potential. Also another good thing was that Edward Cullen the main hero was a really storng character. But I think that the book was too long and even though I have read longer books some parts really seemed like repetitions of other parts and useless conversations that were just there to make the book look fat. I think a story as good as this could have been written in a much better way. The parts about shopping and other girly stuff could have been easily cut out or edited. Some scenes were unnecessary but well, this is Stephanie Meyer’s first book and since at least the basic idea was good, I will not be too harsh. Even so, this is definately better than most of its sequels. Just that I felt it could have been put in a better way.

Every one told me to read this book . What a waste of my time. It was sooooooo boring and flat.After many good comments. I thought it was a romance I mean a vampire almost killing her . Her love cant keep from kiling her.I HATE It I I hate it. 1 through 5 stars id give it a negitve 10.Dont waste your time.
