We bought an electrolux several years ago but needed something that would vacuum floors. Consumer Reports stated that this Hoover worked well on non- carpeted floors. We bought it and not only does it work on non- carpeted floors it is great on them as well. Our expensive electrolux did not get all the dog hair but the Hoover was great!!!!!!!!!!

It’s wonderful but the case doesn’t want to stay on so it could easily be dropped because it’s slippery in the hands. Also, the stations and some accessories that we have from our First Generation IPODs don’t fit the new one.

Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger is a story that can make anyone smile. The main character, Holden Caulfied, is a troubled teen that is yet again, expelled from another haughty boarding school. Holden cannot find the motivation to succeed in school because he feels he does not have a purpose. Why apply yourself if you don’t know your place in life? Holden struggles with his inner-self, battling his own mind, and trying to understand his purpose in life as a teenage boy. Holden’s difficulty in comprehending his place in the world as a young boy is what makes this story unviversally relatable.
After Holden is asked to leave Pencey High School after winter break [expelled], Holden ditches school early to take a little “vacation” to New York City; he packs and leaves by train in the hopes of enjoying himself before returning home to his parent’s wrath. In the few days he spends in New York , he experiences the city’s nightlife through strippers, bars, and night clubs. In contrast, he also spends his free time by revisiting his childhood, reuniting himself with old friends and visiting sentimental places. Holden seems to have a lot of friends, although it is obvious he is not confident about friendships. Holden degradingly numbers off girls throughout the story and therefore his character becomes bothersome. However most of the time it is very easy to sympathize for Holden as he is in deep distress, and he feels that he is surrounded by a bunch of “phonies”. No matter who he associates himself with, whether it is an old friend or a stripper, he feels out of place. The more Holden observes and aquaints himself with humankind in New York City, the more he realizes he is different, and the more he feel like he is without purpose. His inner-struggles and battling of the mind eventually peaks causing for a catchy ending. However, the author does not fill the ending with detail and it can be very frusterating.

A Black White Storybook
Single handedly the best $270 I have ever spent. Great for music the screen is better than my hdtv For video. Apps are amazing controls are great.
I only have two complaints:
1. No flash player so many websites won’t work
2. No mic if you don’t like the earbuds you can’t use voicecontrol and some apps like shazam need a mike to work
But otherwise amazing worth every penny

It baffles me to no end that anyone would give this book a five star rating or that it is considered a literary classic with a “powerful” theme. Not only is it intellectually barren, but is horribly written. Tedious and repetetive, it is literally the worst book I have ever encountered. It should be banned, not because of controversial language or subject matter, but so it cannot be inflicted on humanity any longer. It is truly a crime that this book is elevated to a position of equality with works like To Kill a Mockingbird.

I purchased this memory card over a year ago as a less expensive alternative to the SanDisk 8 GB Class 6 SDHC card. I’ve used this card in my Canon Rebel XSi DSLR and my Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS and it has preformed flawlessly.

When I decided that I wanted to buy a new scale, I read the reviews for many. This one had great ratings and was also ranked very highly by Consumer Reports (whom I trust!) When it arrive, I placed my old scale beside the new one and weighed on both. This scale repeatedly weighed me in at exactly the same as my old scale. Actually, there is nothing wrong with my old scale – I simply wanted one that measured 1/10 pound so that I don’t get discouraged with my slow weight loss! I especially like the glass platform as it lets my beautiful floor tile show. Some of the reviews said it is difficult to turn on but simply sliding it away from the wall so I have room to step on it activates mine! Now, if I could only stick to my diet…..
