I love this little device. I especially like the way it tracks the aerobic steps you have taken. The ability to track steps, aerobic steps and the amount of time you walked aerobically, number of miles walked, and calories burned are great features. I wish the memory feature would allow me to go back to previous days and see all four functions (steps-aerobic steps-calories burned-miles walked) for a particular day instead of having to search the memory for each individual function. I recommend this pedometer to anyone serious about tracking steps.

I love this watch. I am sure I will like it even more when I actually read the instructions and play with all the functions, but for now it does the job perfectly. It is easy to use while running or biking and the pace, distance, and mapping seem pretty accurate. The light doesn’t stay on long, but that’s okay. Also, I forget to turn it off and it dies pretty quickly, but as long as I keep it charging when I’m not using it, it’s no problem. I agree with the other reviews that the elevation gain may not be very accurate, but not a big deal for me. It is pretty big, but you can guess that from the picture. Now, if only I could swim with it on…

This is a first class piece of equipment. I have not had one problem with it. I like being able to use the same GPS no matter which bike I am riding or if I want to walk. I like the software that comes with the unit. It will even connect you to Google Earth to let you see where you have been.

After another hysteria we fell into twelvemonths ago, I was a little reluctant to buy into the Silly Bandz craze. But… we have 4 tikes – two of them the eld of tikes who sell and call for Silly bands. We also have a teen who loves them – she and her protagonists call for and sell them, and she gives them to our younger tikes – which is nice .

I cerebrated it would be fun for our youngest to have the glowing Silly Bandz because he’s afraid of the darkness. It turned out to be a good thing – he ascertains his darlings and feels some sense of comfortableness at Nox. Our middle schooler sells them like the diverse circuit boards he traded in elementary school. And our teen who enjoys them has to purchase them herself, but gets most of them from protagonists who desire to share them with her.

Most of the berths that used to transport them where we live can’t get them any longer – they ‘re overmuch coveted, but they’ve had the shams – which aren’t deserving it – they let out excessively well. We lucked out when we were on holiday and ascertained a place that had every conceivable form available, and we were able to get them for a good Leontyne Price . The other place we bought them, course, is Amazon – where we were able to get them w o paying an inflated Leontyne Price .

Now our tikes each have them and we ‘re done buying . $5.99 is more I desire to pay for rubber bands that will credibly be out of favour erst school is back in academic term in Sep.

I didn’t read “The Catcher in the Rye” until I was in my late twenties, after I had served in the military and completed a couple years of college, so I bring a different perspective to the novel than most readers, who are probably teenagers and have read it in high school. Suffice it to say that I didn’t experience the spiritual revelations, nor do I share the literary reverence, that the novel seems to inspire.

Everybody knows the story: After getting booted out of prep school for bad grades, Holden Caulfield, the teenage hero of the novel, ventures into the wilds of New York City during the Christmas holiday. Apparently in search of himself and a meaning for his life, everywhere he goes he finds fakes, frauds, and phonies. He has some kind of nervous breakdown and ends up in a rest home talking to an analyst — which is where he’s been all along while telling his story. Holden is a likeable character, a well-meaning dolt with a big heart, and some of his observations are hilarious; and although the plot gets somewhat tedious after awhile, the revelation at the end of the novel — that Holden is in a rest home — ties everything together in a simple, plausible conclusion.

A few years later, I tried to read “The Catcher in the Rye” again — and couldn’t get past Chapter 4. Why? It wasn’t the famous swearing that irritated me; the too-many instances of “goddam this” and “goddam that” are annoying enough, but they fit Holden’s character as perfectly as his red hunting hat. It wasn’t Holden’s sarcastic remarks and observations that annoyed me; teenagers talk like that, and Holden is, after all, a teenager. The problem is, after all those years, Holden was still a teenager. Some characters seem to grow and mature with you; and when you return to them again in later years, they seem to reflect your own maturity and experiences. But Holden was still what he was before: a whiny, annoying, irritating smart-ass. I shelved the book and haven’t opened it since.
