When I purchased my Blu Ray Theater System for my bedroom, I was told that it didn’t come with an HDMI cable. I was also told that in order to get true Blu Ray you need one, which I found it strange but what the heck it was a great deal. The salesman also told me I could go buy one for about twenty bucks or so at any retail electronics store.
I immediately did my research on what type of HDMI was appropriate for Blu Ray and proceeded to purchased the best two HDMI 6 foot cables I could find thru Amazon.com.
.The cost, a whooping $5.41 total, including free delivery to my door step. If I had purchased on the street it would have cost me over fifty dollars plus the time and cost of driving to the store, “You do the math”.
By the way they work great, gold plated and all.

So…I know this is a supposed classic and it sooo great and blah blah blah pffft. But, I did not like it. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t read it in high school like everyone else but read it later in life when I just wanted this whiny spoiled rich kid to shutttt upppppp. I also didn’t care for the writing style – some may call it simple prose, I call it crap that my cat could write (and probably would. My cat has a similar sense of entitlement to that of Holden Caulfiend – oops, I mean Caulfield) Now, I try not to let this influence my opinion of J.D. salinger’s other celebrated work as I have not yet read anything else by him and I hear Frannie and Zooey is amazing. So, yeah, there you have it. Didn’t like Catcher in the Rye, so sue me.

After my less than 2yo WD hard drive died with all of my music, pictures, etc…which, of course, could not be recovered, I wanted a sturdier hard drive. It is about a third thinner and much smaller for less. Plus, the ‘anti-shock’ will hopefully keep the drive working for longer. And I love not needing a separate power cord. So far this little guy has been the envy in the office and has done all it needed to do, travel on a bike, back and forth from home to office every day. I have not used the software yet, but it seems very user friendly and helpful, another thing my old WD was missing completely.
