Great toy. This ball is so light and easy for babies to pick up. My granddaughter of 6 months old loved Baby Einstein Bendy Ball immediately. It’s bright and rattles – excellent choice!

Great toy for an infant. I purchased this ball for my daughter around 4-5 months old at a local baby store. It was an instant success. She really enjoyed the sounds and would shake it for several minutes, trying to get the ball out. Much of the outer surface/webbing is soft, flexible plastic. When she wasn’t shaking it, should would comfortably chew on it.

The webbing made it very easy for her to hold it in her hands or pick it up. However, since it is a ball, I spent a lot of time chasing it across the floor if she dropped or threw it. Not as much fun for me, but she enjoyed it. I can say that the ball is extremely durable, as it is still intact after several tumbles from counter-height and rolls across the linoleum floor.

Other than just visual and sound stimulation, I’m not sure what the overall purpose of the ball is, but in my opinion, it appeared to also help her manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. She got really good at moving the ball from one hand to the other and picking it up. It also built up her hand strength/control because she stopped dropping it as often the longer she played with it. These may be secondary benefits, but are just a few things that I noticed and was pleased to see in her progression, as would any parent.

As with any baby toy, this thing can get extremely dirty, either from gooey hands, chewing or drops on the floor/ground. That said, it’s not the easiest thing to clean without submerging it in water (not recommended), especially with the ball on the inside. I wish there were a way to open for cleaning. It is apparent that although you can see the screws holding it together, it wasn’t necessarily intended to be dissembled for cleaning or other purposes, so I left it intact and cleaned it the best I could, despite my urges to get out my screwdriver.

Overall, I think it’s a great toy for an infant. Just keep in mind that it can be difficult to clean at times.

At 14 months old now, she has understandably become bored with this ball and no longer plays with it for more than a minute or so. This was expected, as she becomes interested in more interactive/learning toys.

Lots of Different Ways to Throw a Bendy Ball. My twin 9-month olds, like all babies of that age, love to show when they’re displeased by throwing something. When they try that with the Bendy Ball, most of the time they forget why they got upset.

This cute thing can be bent while holding and you can put your fingers inside it. Plus the ball inside that you can’t quite get out has a little ball inside it that sounds like a bell almost. If you want to throw it to show your displeasure at something, you’ll end up putting your fingers into it first. Those distractions are priceless.

By the time baby finally rolls this ball, it is with a positive frame of mind, and she wants it back to try again.

I can see that this durable little toy is going to be used in many ways and constantly. It’s a lot of fun to roll their way and see how they try to figure out what to do with it.

Beyond that, the colors are great. The 5 outer caterpillar parts on diameter are cute. I think this is an educational toy that teaches about hand manipulation.
