The TomTom Go 910 has worked nearly flawlessly. I’ve noticed a couple minor issues with routing, most likely due to the map database:
1. told me to take a street that wasn’t really a street
2. took me 1 block out of the way returning home because (I think) it didn’t recognize an off ramp as a valid way to turn at an intersection that states “no turns”
3. verbal commands to exit U.S. 422E to U.S. 202N were incorrect, but the map display was correct. If you listened to the verbal commands, you would have been in the right lane instead of the left as you needed to be.
I haven’t noticed many issues like this, but I’d suggest using the demo feature to run through the trip in advance to avoid problems during the trip.

I’ve had no problems with the mounting device. My guess is that people may not be fully locking the arm. You need to turn it to the first click to mount it to the window and then to the second click to hold the arm in place. I’ve also had no problems with TomTom Home and connecting the device to my computer. I’ve downloaded the latest maps and POIs without any issue.

I did discover one annoying and slightly alarming issue when I first attached the device to my computer. I found that the host.exe and copy.exe files are infected with the Perlovga.A virus. I contacted customer service via email and received a response within 2 days. In their response they stated that “a small, isolated number of TomTom GO 910’s, produced between September and November 2006, may be infected with a virus. The virus is qualified as low risk and can be removed safely with virus scanning software. Appropriate actions have been taken to make sure this is prevented from happening again in the future.” My antivirus software removed the virus without any issues.

I compared this unit with the Garmin Nuvi 350. While both units are comperable, I chose the TomTom because I was able to enter addresses via zip code, which the Nuvi 350 cannot due (dispite what the user manual

I bought this SDHC card for my Pentax k-x. For those of you with that camera, it’s a great choice. It works perfectly with the Pentax, and seem to keep up with HD video. I mostly do photos, and for that it was near perfect, even trying out HDR photography.

I don’t know if one SDHC card is better than another (I doubt it), so why not get the biggest size you can afford. This one has worked perfectly.

I’ve only had this item for two days but so far so good. It’s what I’ve hoped and have been told it would be. It’s lightweight, user-friendly, produces pretty good sound, and very versatile. The scrolling takes a little getting used to but is definitely manageable. You definitely want to get a screen protector and quite possibly a decent portable case in case you put it in your pocket, purse, handbag, man-bag, or whatever. I’ll update this in a few months.

A more appropriate title would have been “Spoiled teen in severe need of an attitude adjustment has 3 days and a hundred-odd bucks do burn, and does so by stumbling around New York City like a drunken homeless man.”

I bought this item after experience shortage of darts while playing with my 2 daughters. We kept on having to stop the game to pick up darts. After getting this, we can keep on playing for a long time. We’re losing these darts like crazy though. Blame it on all the junks in the house my wife bought.

Our big 88 pound Rottweiler loves attention so it’s hard to say how much more he likes this than other combs but he does seem to like this one too. Furminator works as advertised removing loose hair and thinning out the coat. In the first two days after buying this, we combed enough off our dog to fill a grocery bag. I guess we had to use judgment to stop there. The thinning is even and not patchy. There is no effort required as it glides through thick fur and thin areas equally.

The Wii is a lot of fun. But, here, five months after purchase, I have to send it in for repair. Nintendo tells me the “card reader” is likely shot. It will not read any disc. I tried their cleaning kit, to no avail. Five months of use. My old Gamecube lasted six years, sometimes being left on 24 hours a day for weeks. My Wii, in comparison, was babied, never played more than a few hours. I will say that Nintendo’s customer service seems quite good, and they’re repairing it free. Still, a month without a game console is not fun. I thought, being Nintendo, the Wii would be ultra reliable, but Nintendo tells me that mine is a common problem.
Portable GPS Holder Friction

After researching a lot of digital scales online, I thought that this one seemed like a good balance of price and performance. It had good reviews and I like buying things online, so I decided to go for it.

I’m an athlete, so accuracy and precision is important to me. I’d say that this scale is very precise with one caveat, and about as accurate as you can ask for in a bathroom scale. Compared to a professional balance scale, it seems like this scale puts my weight about a pound too high. That’s really not bad. In terms of precision, you’ll notice that the scale records the same weight if you step on and off every time. While this would imply effectively perfect precision, I think it might actually be “cheating” and remembers its last reading. If you pick up something big enough to register a change, weigh yourself again with the object, then put the item down and weigh yourself again, you might not get the same weight. Because of this, sometimes I think that small weight changes (but perhaps bigger than the minimum resolution of .2 lb) don’t register. It’s pretty good though, you can track your weight through the day: it knows if you ate a big meal, if you’re really dehydrated, etc. For $30, I’m very happy with it as a measuring device.

My other minor critique (and the only real reason I didn’t give 5 stars) is that my scale shipped without one of the battery contacts (those conical helix things that are sprung against one end of the battery), so at first I couldn’t use it. I didn’t want to go the hassle of exchanging the scale, so I jerry-rigged a contact out of a paper clip.

Came fast. Very inexpensive and it works. What more can you ask. Have nothing to compare it to with respect to quality but the picture looks as good as the pictures coming through my cable box. Bought it to hook up a Roku unit and enjoyed a down loaded Netflis movie last night.

Ok so i researched this unit high and low before I finally purchased I really did my homework. This little unit absolutely will extract a ton of water, so well in fact the carpet dries very quickly. The rotating brushes do a fairly good job but the bristles are entirely to soft for a good scrubbing. The fresh water tank is very easy to fill and the dirty water is very easy to clean. The tanks could be much bigger they run out very fast. The hand tool is very nice and has a good scrubber. Now the bad part after the first day the locking clip that holds the unit upright when not in use broke and the unit would constantly fall over with water in the tanks and it will leak when that happens. I looked and the locking clip that broke and it’s a very weak piece of plastic. I was forced to return the unit for this but I will most likely repurchase another.
