Do not waste your money buying this from BeachCamera. They will not send you the product as shown (they will send you the beanbag, but not the part that you actually attach to the GPS.)
I don’t know if this is the case every time, but in mine they conveniently did not include an invoice either, so when I attempted to resolve this with them I was told there was “nothing I could do.” They don’t have invoices on file for the products they’ve sold? Seems shady…
Looks like a good product, but I cannot tell until I purchase the rest of it from a different company.

Works great, dog is less stinky, my couch is less messy. I’ve owned three, only because I keep losing or lending out.

I tried to throw this mount off my dash but was unsuccessful. Sudden Stops, hard turns nothing. I’m glad I bought it.
Thexton 365 Universal Emergency

No matter how many times I read this book, I am drawn in by the imagination, the creativity, and the enchantment of the tale of Artemis Fowl. The first in a set of five books, I resisted the lure of a 12-yr-old criminal-mastermind for a while, thinking the book too silly for my age. Now I run to the store the moment a new book in this series appears.

Artemis Fowl has a plan to gain back the money his father lost when he disappeared a year ago. Aided by Butler, his body guard, Artemis devises a plan to steal gold from the fairies. Young enough to still believe in magic, but old enough to construct a devious scheme, few could pull off what Artemis is about to do.

Our fairy heroine, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Unit, is the test case for allowing female elves to join the Lower Elemental Police recon unit, and she has been having a very bad week. After being attacked by a troll, she attempts to carry out the ritual to recharge her magic, but instead is captured by Artemis and Butler, thus beginning the hostage crisis.

Filled with interesting characters and an excellent usage of magic and technology, Artemis Fowl is a book that readers of any age should enjoy. My favorite part is how Colfer integrates magic and technology, instead of ignoring one in favor of the other, like so many urban fantasy writers do. Instead, Foaly, the centaur super-genius, uses technology to shield magic from human scanners and stay one step ahead of the Mud People.

The book is rich with detail that will keep the reader coming back. It’s been a few years since I last read the book, and I was amazed at how many things I didn’t remember and how I was still enthralled by the action. Even my roommate, who tends to feel that she is above reading “children’s” books, eagerly reads every new Artemis Fowl.

With the release of The Lost Colony, right now is the perfect time to pick up a copy of this classic and reread it. Then continue on to The Artic Incident, The Eternity Code, The Opal Decep

I received my Hoover 5914-900 steamvac one week ago, and just tried it out today. I had really bad grease stains by the front door from shoes that had been in the car garage. Used hot water only at first. Gone! Had dog accident (urine)spots in the formal dining room. Hot water only. Gone! The thing just works GREAT!!! Definitely pick one of these up if you are in need of a steamvac.

Works as advertised, plug and play. I will say it survived the drop test, accidentally dropped it about 3 feet onto concrete floor and works fine. Why get a half duplex hub when you can have the full duplex switch? After rebate this was $[...], can’t beat that.

I just started reading this book tonight, and just out of curiousity I read the reviews. Well, I guess I’ll wait till I finish a book next time I look at reader reviews. The point of a review is to give the potential reader some idea on whether or not they might enjoy the book – not to give away elements of the plot that will spoil the enjoyment of the book!! Arggh!!
Between Husbands and Friends

If there was one book that changed my perspective on the world, this is it. For years, I believed the US was a well-intentioned but negligent country on the world scene, but far superior to the Soviet Union. Chomsky meticulously dismantled that traditional liberal myth, and many others, by comparing them to the demonstrated behavior of the US. Why, for instance, was it acceptable for the United States to invade Panama on the flimsiest of pretexts in 1990, but barbaric for Iraq to do the same to Kuwait? Chomsky rigorously leads the reader through a multitude of analyses, until, towards the end of the book, the terrible conclusion of what kind of country the United States really is finally comes into full view. However, this book is not an easy read. Readers will have to deal not only with the rude shock of some of their most cherished national myths tumbling down before their very eyes, but also with Chomsky’s writing, which tends to be a grammatical nightmare. Despite that, I consider this book a must-read to grasp how our society truly works.

Water for Elephants is a superb novel that is endlessly engrossing. Gruen’s storytelling ability is marvelous and this book is tireless throughout, I couldn’t put it down. It’s romantic, its daunting, its tense, and immensely rewarding.

The characters in this novel are so well put together and so dynamic that you care for so many and loathe others. The progression is absolutely perfect. Her vivid descriptions pulls you in head first into the depression era, and really paints a picture of a train circus even though I have no experience with the medium.

This is a story that I truly cherish and will return to in the future, a movie is being released next year for it and if it captures even half the essence of the book it will be wildly successful.

I am in love with marlena. :)

I love my Kindle. It’s very easy to use, books download very quickly, and I can shop on it to choose my next book. I thought having to press next page would bother me but not at all. I love books themselves so I had some reservations about switching to a Kindle but the financial side (other than initial cost) convinced me that I needed to do this.
The size is perfect and the weight is less than a hardback book. My only “problem” is that I can no longer cheat and read the last few pages of a book before I get to the end – actually that’s a bad habit that needed to be broken. I’m still learning on it but I’ve read 4 books so far and really love it. I like that I can organize the books by collections, i.e. book club selections vs. my selections (so far.)
Overall, anyone who loves to read would love this. Yes, I do miss having a physical book a little but Kindle has definitely won me over to electronic books.
Love my Kindle!!!
